Perhaps our most popular activity ever, at Blooming Green… PYO & Pizza is back! Starting on Thursday May 28 and continuing until Thursday September 3, it really doesn’t get much better; an acre of gorgeous seasonal flowers — just asking to be picked — plus wood-fired pizza and a bar serving a selection of drinks, including Prosecco, Perroni & Aperol. For those who love an Italian vibe, you’ll find it right here on the farm (on Thursday evenings at least!)

PYO Flowers: 4pm-8pm (bell is rung at 7.45pm)
Pizza & bar: 5pm-9pm (last order for pizza 8.30pm)

Reserve a table, in a secluded spot on the flower plot, or a ‘chef’s table’ with waiter / waitress service. Please note: Reserved tables are for flower-pickers only. We kindly ask that you pick a minimum of one container of flowers, if reserving one of our tables. Thank you!
FAQs
How much does it cost to pick your own flowers? It costs £25 to fill one of our containers / buckets — with up to 30 flower stems
I have a PYO voucher. How do I use it? Just bring it along with you on the evening, or show us a digital copy on your phone.
Do I have to bring anything with me? No. We will give you a PYO container (containing water) and snippers for you to take out on to the flower plot — then we wrap your flowers for you to take home
How will my flowers stay fresh while I sit and eat pizza? We will keep your flowers in the cool of our shed, in water, until you are ready to leave — so they stay nice and hydrated
What should I wear on my feet? We recommend you wear ‘sensible shoes’ or wellies — the ground can be a bit uneven and the grass wet
What options are there for seating? Aside from pre-booked tables, there are picnic benches, a shelter plus plenty of lawn area for picnic blankets
Do I have to bring cash? No, cards or cash are accepted
Are dogs allowed? Absolutely. As long as they are kept on a lead and any poops are picked up straightaway
What if it’s raining? Our flowers will be quite happy! We have some shelter on the flower plot and in our shed… Or, pop round the corner to the Tap Room, until the rain passes…
T&Cs
- A PYO container = up to 30 stems of flowers or foliage.
- If flowers picked, exceed this number or cannot be wrapped in our standard flowers sleave, we reserve the right to charge for excess stems at 50p per stem
- Stems should be no more than double the height of the vase / container
